24 June 2003
My Brother/Sister,
Calvary greetings in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, I am former Mrs Susan Dansuki, now Mrs Susan Samali, a widow to Late Mr Babatunde Dansuki. I am 72years old, I am now a new Christian
convert, suffering from long time cancer of the breast. From all indications, my condition is really
deteriorating and is quite obvious that I may not live more than six months, because the cancer stage has gotten to a very severe stage.
My late husband was killed during the Gulf war, and during the period of our marriage we had a son who was also killed in cold blood during the Gulf war. My late husband was very wealthy and after his death, I inherited all his business and wealth. My personal physician told me that I may not live for more than six months and I am so scared about this. So, I now decided to divide part of this wealth, by contributing to the development of evangelism and chrity in Africa, America, Europe and
Asian Countries.
This mission which will no doubt be tasking had made me to recently relocated to Nigeria, Africa where I live presently. I selected your organisation after visiting the website for this purpose and prayed over it, I am willing to donate the sum of $2,000,000.00 Million US Dollars to your orphanage/Ministry for the development of evangelism and also as aids for the less privileged around you.
Please note that, this fund is lying in a Security Company in Holland and the company has branches, therefore my lawyer will file an immediate application for the transfer of the money in the name of your ministry. Please, do not reply me if you have the intention of using this fund for
personal use other than enhancement of evangelism.
Lastly, I want you/your ministry to be praying for me as regards my entire life and my health because I have come to find out since my spiritual birth lately that wealth acquisition without Jesus Christ in one's life is vanity upon vanity. If you have to die says the Lord, keep fit and I will give you the crown of life.
May the Grace of our Lord Jesus Christ, the love of God, and the sweet fellowship of the Holy Spirit be with you.
I await your urgent reply.
Yours in Christ
Mrs Susan Samali

Dearest Susan
A Holy miracle - How else can I describe it. The good Lord has answered our prayers.
How else did He guide you to our Holy Order, The Sisters of Victoria's Secret.
We are a working community of 12 nuns looking after young children who are deaf and dumb.
All of us here are also handicapped in that respect so we have a good understanding of what these poor mites are trying to cope with.
I'm so sorry that your cancer is in such an advanced stage - is there nothing else that can be done for you?
We would have replied sooner but our computer suffered a hard drive failure and it's only just been returned to us.
It's a wonderful means of communication for all of us here in this silent world of ours and a great benefit in interacting with the outside world.
Two million dollars! We are all ecstatic about your generous offer. It would mean so much to the children here and to future generations who can be looked after with that money. At the moment we rely entirely upon charity and I must say that some months there is very little to eat for the children and Sisters.
Susan, please be assured that you will be in our thoughts and prayers day and night.
When the time comes we hope that the Good Lord will take you peacefully unto Him to sit at His right hand in the Kingdom of Heaven for you surely deserve it.
Should we get in touch with your lawyer and if so can you give us his address?
Look after yourself and remember that the Good Lord is always with you.
Yours in Christ's name
Sister Jennifer

Dearest Susan
We are all praying for you and have lit a candle for you each day since you were first in contact.
I am now worried that we haven't heard from you. Is your health still holding up?
Please let us know how you are keeping.

Dear Sister Jennifer,
How are you and your well wishers in the lord, i am sorry i have not been able to reply you all these while i have been hospitalised for the past few days. I am happy to hear from you at this time of the providence of restoration. Actually what i wanted is to actuallise my heart desire by enhancing the work of God, please i want to make it brief because of my health,i will be very glad if this fund get to your ministry on time before i leave for eternity to our lord, and i strongly desire your prayers at this time.
Contact my attorney, he is my lawyer and he has all the document concerning my wealth he is barrister Sanmi Jacob, his email is barsanjay1@hotmail.com. Please reach him either by email or phone # 234-802-3557448 so that he can start the processing on time, and don't forget your prayers for me as i pray god will richly assist you as you do this work to his glory.
Yours in Christ,
Susan Samali.
18 July 2003

Dearest Susan
Thank the Good Lord you are still with us. We have been worried as we have not heard from you.
We still pray for you each day and ask God to lessen your suffering.
Is the hospital taking good care of you and do they try to ensure that you are not suffering pain too much?
We have been very busy in our little community as 10 of our charges are now ready to leave to start their adult lives outside and we will be taking in 12 younger ones next week so there is a lot of preparation to be done.
We look after between 45 and 50 of the poor mites and I can tell you sometimes it's a struggle. Although they are handicapped they still have the same range of emotions that other little boys and girls have. We have to allow some latitude for them but, at the same time, we try to ensure that they behave well. I think that the teenage ones are the hardest to deal with- some of the things that the young girls get up to! But if they're extra naughty they have to wear some of the Victoria's Secret clothes that we have especially made. You wouldn't believe what a change it makes to a young
16 year old girl when she puts on our special clothing. It's not very comfortable and is generally in very gaudy colours so we see it as an appropriate punishment for wayward behaviour.
Later today I will send a letter to your barrister as you suggest.
Susan you don't realise how much this donation of yours will help us. May the Good Lord bless and reward you for your generosity.
Take courage dear sister and remember you are always in our thoughts.
Yours in Christ's name
Sister Jennifer
18 July 2003

Dear Mr Jacob
We have been asked by Mrs Susan Samali to get in touch with you regarding a donation she wishes to make to our community, The Blessed Order of Victoria's Secret.
Sister Susan may already have told you that all the nuns here and our children are both deaf and dumb so the only way we can communicate is sign language or using the internet. We do have a fax machine but it's rarely used and we find that with electronic mail we can communicate very well with the outside world.
Susan has said that you need to process some paperwork in order that the donation can be made. Please let us know what you require from us so that her gift can start improving the lives of our little boys and girls.
We are not a rich community and rely mainly on charity. Thankfully we received £70,000 last year in a bequest so we were relying on that to see us through the next 2 or 3 years but with dear Susan's donation we can start planning for extra amenities for our community.
We look forward to your communication.
Yours in Christ's name

Dear Sister Jennifer,
How are you, your family and congregation? I hope all is well.
However, i must thank you very much for your message and i have been duely breifed by my client of your intentions to assist her actualise her hearts disires.
Initially, when she told me of this donation, i thought she has gone insane, but after due consideration of what she did to the homeless during the last religious riot in my country in the just concluded miss world context that was hosted by my country. You would not beleive that she gave her blocks of flats to them.
All what i demand from you is your absolute and diligent mode of actualising my clients hearts desires.
The issue of transferiing this fund has to take some legal processes as the fund was willed to her by her late husband, this invariably means that the funds is now in my clients name. This chambers has to make sure that we make all the legal change of beneficiary to your ministry's name under your care.
For us to begin you have to send to this chambers your ministry's full name and address including your ministry's tel and fax numbers. This would enable us file in application at the Federal Ministry of justice ,which is the apex legal powers in my country.
With this we can now secure all the necessary vital release documents for the successfull transfer of this fund to your ministry. After this process we would collect the change of beneficairy form from the ministry which we would send to you, this you would fill completely and send to this chambers.
Immedaitly this is been verified at the ministry you would be contacted that your fund is ready, once you are contacted, your ministry is now the bonafide beneficiary.
I want you to pray for my client as her health situation is deteriorating everyday and also pray for all involved in this great project.
I want to assure you that if you follow all our instructions diligently we would complete this project in the next seven working days. I and my client would visit your country to see your good work. I want you to state what and what is your plan for the donation and send to this chambers
Since it is easier for you to communicate with emails, I will be reaching you by emails then.my regards to your family
I am earnestly expecting your response.
Yours in service
Barr. Sanmi Jacob.
18 July 2003

Dear Mr Jacob
Thank you for your prompt reply to my e-mail
As the Blessed Saint Dymphna (Patron Saint of Insanity) said "Vescere bracis meis."
(Eat my shorts)
Your client is a very special person and has been in our thoughts ever since she first contacted us. We are all praying that she will achieve a state of being "raptus regaliter"
(Royally screwed).
You enquired what we plan to do with the donation. It has been the subject of many a late night discussion here amongst the Sisters of Victoria's Secret and there have been lively debates about it. (When I say discussion you will understand that this has all been through sign language as we are all both deaf and dumb which means that we can relate to the poor children who are in our care)
We own some land next to the hostel here and one of the things that we have considered doing is to raise chickens and grow our own fruit and vegetables so that we can become more self-sufficient. Unfortunately we have no agricultural experience and will need to be guided on where to start. You don't, by any chance, know how many cocks would be needed to support a colony of 200 hens? We are also all rather keen on raising our own cucumbers and other vegetables, especially now as all the advertising says that 5 pieces of fruit or vegetables a day are necessary to ensure good health.
One of our immediate priorities will be to stock the lake with freshwater bearded clams as there is a large market for them which can be a very profitable venture for the hostel and contribute towards our self-sufficiency.
We are still at an early stage of planning what do with Susan's donation and have not yet finalised everything but would like to have Susan's approval on any course of action that we are considering.
I understand that you need our address details to enable the paperwork to be transferred correctly. This is:-
The Blessed Order of the Sisters of Victoria's Secret
Dipwick House
Mincing
Cheshire
SK14 2 AX
England
We all look forward in anticipation of your visit to our hostel and trust that The Good Lord will take care of Susan until she has had an opportunity of visiting us too.
As you will appreciate, we have had little experience in dealing with solicitors but anticipate that you will not neglect the "praeceptio cerarium dolus"
(advance fee fraud) in order to conclude matters satisfactorily.
Please pass on our good wishes to Susan and assure her that she is forever in our thoughts.
Yours in Christ's name
Sister Jennifer
18 July 2003
Dear Sister Jennifer,
Good day to you, your family and congregation. I am in receipt of your message and the informations were very clear. I am indeed very happy upon reading your plans for the donation,
I would have been very happy to advise you categorically on agriculture but I am not vast in that area.
I would proceed today to the Federal Ministry of Justice with the informations you provided, this would enable me to secure the change of beneficairy form, this I would send to you. be aware that this is happening because the fund is in my clients name.
My client is in coma state at this moment, this situation has been reocurring since she took ill .please do endeavour to pray for her.I am a very busy man, because of my position, but I have to be committed to the work of God.My client has no family since they abandoned her because she is now a christain, do realise that we are the only family she has now. do not let her down.
However, this chambers would have to pay the sum of US$2010 to secure the Change of beneficiary form since my client is not in the position to that now.
Do endeavour to pray for all involved as I expect your E-mail.
Yours in service
barr. Sanmi Jacob.
20 July 2003

Dear Mr Jacob
Dearest Susan is in a coma? How long has she been in this condition? What do the doctors say? We will all be praying for her with a special "Re vera, cara mea, mea nil refert."
(Frankly my dear, I don't give a damn.)
I am so sorry that I didn't reply yesterday but we took the children to the seaside for the day. What fun they had. We encourage them to play traditional English games and all the boys are now expert at "Bashing the Bishop" (It's a bit livelier than cricket). The girls enjoyed themselves on the seashore paddling the pink canoe. I can tell you we were all pretty exhausted at the end of the day so when we arrived back here there was only time for one quick game of hide the salami before bedtime.
Do you think that Susan will recover enough to consider our plans for her generous donation? We would feel much better knowing that she gave her wholehearted approval to the use of the money.
Mr Jacob, we have been wondering if you have a picture of Susan that you can send to us; it would help us concentrate our prayers for her recovery. If you have one please send it as soon as possible.
I must go now as the local priest has arrived for Sunday lunch and we will be eating in about 20 minutes.
Be sure that we will continue to pray for Susan's recovery.
We look forward to your communication.
Yours in Christ's name
Sister Jennifer
21 July 2003
Dear Sister Jennifer,
How are you, your family and congregation? I hope all is well.I would want to thank you so much for all your prayers and efforts in making sure we actaulise the hearts desires of my client. God bless you for all that you and the other sisters are doing to put smiles on the faces of these children. Ionly wish more people will indulge in assisting those that are less priviledged in the society. My response was delayed because I did not see your reply until today, besides I work half day ond Saturday and I don't work on Sundays.
May God in his infinite mercies continue to bless you and your family, but however my clients is still in coma state. Doctors says she could be like that for weeks.we all have to pray fervently for her.we are planning an all night vigil this weekend. Before she degenerated into coma all she was
concerned about is the donation getting to your ministry so I don't want you to bother yourselves about her giving wholeheartedly.
Let us thank God, we have been able to secure the change of beneficairy form from the Federal Ministry of Justice, do see as attached with this memo.Be aware that we have to return this form back with a non-refundable fee of US$655, and because of the present condition of my client, do assist in offsetting this fee to enable this chambers return this form soonest as the Federal Ministry of Justice is a very busy ministry especially at this time when we just concluded our national election. please advise.
For the purpose of this payment do use western union money trasfer, for durability and faster process.Send it through my account's clerk : Mr. Ogundipe Paul Olukunmi.
Attached also is the picture of Mrs. Samali and her late husband shortly before he was killed.
For further information reach me soonest and do not forget us in your prayers and my regards to your wellwishers as I await your immediate response.

22 July 2003

Dear Mr Jacob
Your latest message about Susan is troubling us. You say that the doctors believe she will be in a coma for weeks - do they hold out any hope for the recovery of the dear lady?
Mr Jacob you mentioned that you had attached a beneficiary form to your letter but there was not one there.
Also the 2 photographs that you sent were completely blank - can you resend them with the form please?
We're not sure if you want us to send you the $655 you mentioned. If so can you send us your bank details so that we can arrange a transfer? What is Western Union - is that your bank?
The hostel is in turmoil just now. We've had the painters in so you can imagine the mess! All our habits are in the laundry just now and looking around it's surprising to see that some collars and cuffs don't match.
The painters are a strange bunch of chaps. One of them insisted that Sister Anisette go all the way up to the bell end with him and when she got there he started praying to God. It's good to see that even unbelievers can respond to the Sisters of Victoria's Secret.
Dearest Susan is still in our thoughts and it was reassuring to read your letter saying that she was concerned about her donation coming to us. We will use it wisely. As the Blessed Saint Dymphna
(Patron Saint of Insanity) said "Te audire no possum. Musa sapientum fixa est in aure."
(I can't hear you. I have a banana in my ear.)
Please Mr Jacob, do re-send the photographs so that we have an image of Susan - and also the copy of the beneficiary form.
Yours in Christ's name
Sister Jennifer
22 July 2003
Dear Sister Jennifer,
The doctor are not sure of her been in a coma for weeks, all they said is she might be. There is also a strong possibility that she could come out of the coma within days.
Once again I have attached the change of beneficiary form from the Federal Ministry of Justice, and the photograph of Mrs. Samali and her late husband.
Yes I want you to send the US$655 by Western Union Transfer. Western Union Transfer is a process by which money is transfered to anywhere in the world in minutes. All you need to do is, go to a bank and tell them you want to send a western union money transfer and you will be assisted.
The transfer should be made to my accounts clerk by the name of: Mr Paul Olukunmi Ogundipe.
Yours in Service,
Barr. Sanmi Jacob.

(Just check out what her elbow is resting on)
23 July 2003

Dear Mr Jacob
We have just now received your last letter We are all delighted that there is a strong possibility that Susan will possibly recover from her coma in a matter of days - that really is good news.
I notice that the beneficiary form that you sent is blank. Do we need to do anything with it or will you be doing all that? Another question that Sister Gwendoline raised was does the form need to be signed by Susan and, if so, how will that happen if she is still in a coma?
The photograph of Susan and her husband is lovely - is that Nigerian National dress that they are both wearing?
Her husband looks like a kind man too (Estne volumen in toga, an solum tibi libet me
videre?) (Is that a scroll in your toga, or are you just happy to see me?)
Our parish priest telephoned our bank today to enquire about sending the money to you and they said that they don't do Western Union Transfers to Nigeria - they mentioned something about 419, whatever that is.
Anyway he looked up Western Union in the telephone directory and there is an office about 20 miles from here so we will be able to send you the money. Do we need to do anything with this form you sent us before sending the money?
We await your answer and continue to pray for dear Susan.
Yours in Christ's name
Sister Jennifer
23 July 2003
Dear Sister Jennifer,
Thank God your computer is now working. You said the form I sent you is blank, do you mean there are no characters on it. If this is the case write down the following information and send it to me.
1. NAME OF BENEFICIARY
2. ADDRESS
3. TELEPHONE
4. FAX
5. As an attorney I will sign on your behalf.
If you can see the characters on the form, print it out, fill it and send it back to me with your picture attached. The signature space is to be signed by you. Mrs. Samali will not be needed to sign anything, all the signing will be done by me.
The dresses they are are wearing are our native attire, I can arrange to get some sent to you and some of the children.
Please endeavour to send the money possibly tomorrow so we can get attendance at the Federal Ministry of Justice this week. As soon as I recieve the form and the money I shall go to the Ministry and enhance the transfer of the Fund.
Yours in service
Barr. Sanmi Jacob.
24 July 2003

Dear Mr Jacob
What a kind man you are - the children I'm sure would be delighted to receive some of your traditional clothing - that's a really nice thought (Feles mala. Cur cista non uteris? Stramentum novum in ea
posui). (Bad kitty! Why don't you use the cat box? I put new litter in it.)
How is dear Susan today? - if you have any news please let us know.
The Mother Superior has completed the Federal Ministry of Justice form and it is attached together with her photograph. I hope it's alright like that. How soon do you think before Susan's donation will be transferred to us? If you know then we can advise our bank to look out for it.
Our parish priest, Father Ted, has offered to drive to the Western Union office later today to arrange the transfer.
Before he does can you just please confirm that the details are correct?
Transfer Amount:- $655
Payee:- Mr Paul Olukumi Ogundipe. (Olukunmi spelt wrongly)
As soon as we hear from you Father Ted will drive straight away to the office.
Yours in Christ's name
Sister Jennifer

24 July 2003
Dear Sister Jennifer,
All the information supplied is correct. I have printed it out and I am on my way to the Federal Ministry of Justice (FMJ) to enhance the transfer. The FMJ will do a routine verification exercise when they recieve this form before they give the approval for the fund to be released by the Federal
Ministry of Finance (FMF). With you full support the fund will be released to your account latest by monday or tuesday next week.
Mrs. Samali came out of her coma last night for two hour before she slipped in again, doctor say she should be up and well by Sunday. Thanks fo all your prayers.
Mother Superior looks very good and kind, I bet the children loves and adore her.
Yours in Service
Barr. Sanmi Jacob.
24 July 2003

Dear Mr Jacob
Thank you for your e-mail confirming that everything was correct.
Father Ted went off about an hour after your letter arrived and was going to call at the Western Union office but I'm afraid he is not returning this evening. He is playing cricket with the St Gullible's team and, as usual, batting for the other side. We're expecting him to return to the parish tomorrow in the middle of the morning so I will confirm to you then that the transfer has been made.
You're absolutely correct about Mother Superior - she is a very kind and wise woman and all the children adore her. She is an inspiration to us all and leads by example. We are extremely fortunate in having her leading our community. As the blessed St Dymphna
(Patron Saint of the Insane) said "Sic hoc adfixum in obice legere potes, et liberaliter educatus et nimis propinquus ades."
(If you can read this bumper sticker, you are very well educated and much too close.)
The main news we were waiting for was that dear Susan will be well enough on Sunday to be up and about - you see our prayers and candles have helped I'm sure.
I must go now and supervise the boys who are choking a few chickens ready for tonight's meal - not a pleasant task but someone has to do it.
We will continue to pray for dear Susan who is constantly in our thoughts.
Yours in Christ's name
Sister Jennifer
24 July 2003
Dear Sister Jennifer,
Everything is in order. I shall be expecting the payment instruction tomorrow. My regards to everybody.
Your in service
Barr. Sanmi Jacob.
25 July 2003

Dear Mr Jacob
Father Ted has finally arrived back in the parish - his car broke down and he had to call out a mechanic to repair it.
He has confirmed that he made the transfer through Western Union yesterday so it will be available for collection now. We didn't realise that Western Union would charge so much just to make the transfer but Father Ted had some of his own money with him so he used that to pay the charges.
How is Susan today? Has she recovered from her coma? You said before that the doctors thought she may be able to get up this weekend. We still pray for her every day.
I am leaving the hostel now to attend my brother's wedding in Newcastle and won't be back until Sunday evening. It's quite a long train journey these days as the trains are going more slowly now since we had a series of accidents in the last 2 years. I haven't met my brother's fiancee yet but he says that she is a really nice girl. I do hope that they will be happy together and raise a large family. As the Blessed St Dymphna
(Patron saint of Insanity) said "Anulos qui animum ostendunt omnes gestemus"
(Let's all wear mood rings!)
Have a good weekend Mr Jacob and do let us know how Susan is faring.
Yours in Christ's name
Sister Jennifer
25 July 2003
Dear Sister Jennifer,
Mrs Samali is still in a coma, she has been slipping in and out of coma. Doctor says there is nothing to worry about, her condition is nomal and
quite peculiar to her age. Our expectations that she will be up and fine is higher than it was yestarday. Thank you for your prayers and keep on
praying.
Thank God that the transfer has been effected, however there is still one little hitch in it. You will have to send me the payment information that
the money was paid with i.e
1. senders name (the name that appears on the slip)
2. Receiver's name ( My accounts clerks)
3. Control number (will be in the payment slip)
4. Text question and answer.
5. Actual amount been transferred.
Alternatively scan a copy of the payment slip that was issued by the bank.
Unfaillingly the Federal Ministry of Finance (FMF) will give the Approval (which I shall send a copy to you)for payment on Monday and by Tuesday
your Ministry will be the the beneficiary of the fund.
I remain most obliged
Barr. Sanmi Jacob.
26 July 2003
Dear Sister Jennifer,
How are you and everyone over there. I don't know if you got the email I wrote yestarday. I want you to send me the payment instructions that was
issued by the bank so that my accounts clerk will be able to retrieve the Western Union on monday.
My regards to Mother superior, Father Ted and the children.
Yours in Service
Barr. Sanmi Jacob.
27 July 2003

Dear Mr Jacob
I'm sorry but Sister Jennifer is at her brother's wedding in Newcastle but she will be back later this evening.
However I've seen Father Ted and the information you need is:-
Transfer Amount:- $655
Payee:- Mr Paul Olukumi Ogundipe
Sender:- Sisters of Victoria's Secret
Test Question:- Who for?
Test Answer:- Susan
Control Number:- 2359980014
How is Susan today? Has she made any sort of recovery? We do hope so - she is so special to all of us here at the hostel. We continue to pray for her.

Sister Anisette
28 July 2003 (10.23am)
Dear Sister Jennifer,
How are you? I was told you went to your brothers wedding by Sister Anisette. how was it?
Susan came through at the early hours of today, but she can't talk for now.
Doctors says she need time to recurperate fully.
My account clerk went to the bank this morning to retrieve the transfer but
was told by the bankers that the money is not in the system. Please have Father Ted call up the bank where the transfer was made from, to ractify the
problem this morning. The earlier we do this the better.
Yours in service
Barr. Sanmi Jacob.
28 July 2003

Dear Mr Jacob
I'm dreadfully sorry about the mix-up but Sister Anisette's eyesight is not as good as it used to be.
All the details are correct apart from the number. She gave you 2359980014 and it should have been
2359988814. The eights and the zeroes are fairly similar.
We are all so relieved that Susan has come out of her coma. She will need plenty of rest to recover her strength before she can speak or get up and about. We will continue to pray for her as ever.
My brother's wedding was a wonderful affair. The service in church was perfect, the weather was glorious and the reception afterwards was truly memorable. (Minutus cantorum, minutus balorum, minutus carborata descendum pantorum.
A little song, a little dance, a little seltzer down your
pants.) It was lovely to see all my family again and have a good old fashioned gossip about what's been happening. So much has happened since we were all last together. My sister has taken up with a Pole at Stringfellows and says she feels truly satisfied for the first time in her life and my youngest brother has gone into the rent business and is doing really well.
I must stop chatting now and go and help prepare lunch.
Let us know if there's anything else that we can do for you and if you go to the hospital please pass our good wishes on to Susan if she is awake.
Yours in Christ's name
Sister Jennifer
28 July 2003 (3.35pm)
Dear Sister Jennifer,
My accounts clerk is back from the bank for the second time today with this same information (below) and still the money is not in the system. I want you to go through it ( information) to make sure it is correct and if it is then I want you to call up your bank, tell them that the money they were
supposed to wire is still not in the system. I am sure they would rectify the problem
because the fault is from their side.

No
Mr Jacob, you are mistaken, the fault is not from the bank's side,
it's from your side.
Why?
Because you're a thieving 419 scammer
Shame on you for trying to rob a disabled
children's hostel of its much
needed cash.
No doubt we'll meet again but I probably won't
be Sister Jennifer next time.
Thanks for the amusement.
