Therefore I decided to contact you for your assistance so that I can establish a company in your country and relocate there Also I must re-iterate the importance of having a citizen of your country to front as the owner of the enterprise due to the fact that I am a foreigner   For this purpose I have put in a security deposit all monies from the sale of my farm and farming equipments including tractors etc which amounted to US$35Million I will upon receiving your consent prepare every document to enable you receive this money on my behalf pending my arrival to meet with you in your country so that we can both make further arrangements with regards to establishing the company.

Robin, I deposited the money with a private Security Company for safety, but I want to start up a good business venture in your country, therefore I want us to go into a joint business Venture in your country, we will reach agreement and sign all the necessary documents, you will be my Manager of which I will hand over the money to you for you to start up a good business in your Country while I will join you later after this problem is over here in Zimbabwe.

All the Documents relating to the money are with me and I will send all the copies to you, but my lawyer will draft a Power of Attorney which will allow you to have the money from the Diplomatic Security Company were the money is. you will have to send me the information's below:

1. Your First Name/Second Name and Last Name.

2. Your Resident Address.

3. Your Telephone/Fax and Mobile Number for Easy Communication. and to enable the Diplomatic Company open up communication with you.

So the money is Presently in Senegal but I am not in Gambia as a Refugee.
Robin, I hope you understood all I have explained so far, and I know you have now known the truth, so you have to come down to Gambia were you and I will meet face to face then will proceed to Senegal to claim the money, have in mind that from Gambia to Senegal is only 15mins by Air and about 1.30mins drive by road, so we will go to Senegal by your choice.

How are you and how about your family. I received your mail and I am very sorry for the late response. You must understand what I mean first. I am no more in Zinbabwe I am now in Gambia just a place very close to Senegal where this money is in the Security Company. So from Gambia to Senegal is 25 minute by air you can confirm that from Gambia's website www.gambia.co.uk  and also Gambia is the Highest Tourist Country in the whole Africa so you don't need Visa to go there just tell them that you are going for Tourist because a lot of people do come there for Tourist.

But I will like you to answer me these questions:

1.   Are you Married?
2.   What kind of bussiness do you do?
3.   How old are you? And finally,
4.   Do you have a registerred company?

Sorry I haven't replied sooner but I went away with friends for the weekend.
A bit about me:-

I'm 73, retired and not married.
Up to retirement age I was in the army and left as a colonel. I've travelled quite a bit in Africa so that's why I couldn't understand you when you said that Zimbabwe was 25 minutes from Senegal. Anyway that's all cleared up now.

No point in trying to phone me old chap - I'm as deaf as a post. My hearing stopped functioning 3 years ago just after I turned 70. It's OK if I'm in a room with someone as I can turn up my hearing aid to maximum but I just can't hear a word on the phone. Even tried one of these deaf-enabled phones for a while but that didn't help either.

The weather here in England at the moment is terrible - rain just about every day so a trip to a sunny climate would be quite welcome at the moment. When would you like me to come to the Gambia?

Sorry but I can't come as soon as that without paying a very high charge for an airline ticket.

I have, however managed to get a package deal holiday/flight. It means I will be arriving at Yundum airport on Wednesday 4th June at 20.20 hours.

The flight number is Brussels Airlines SN 227 and I've arranged to stay for a week so I can conclude our business and have a little rest in the sun as well.

Will you be at the airport to meet me? And can you send me a photo of yourself so that I can recognise you?

The places I know best in Africa are Kenya and Tanzania. I've not been to the west coast before so it will be a new experience for me.

Thanks for your letter but I'm surprised at your suggestion that I will need £10,000 to open a bank account in the Gambia.

In the UK you can easily open a bank account with only £100 and I know that the Gambia is poorer than the UK so I would have thought that you could open one with maybe the equivalent of a £10 note.

By the way I don't know which hotel I'm staying in yet. I've got one of those package deals that allocates your hotel on arrival but I think the girl in the travel agency said it was likely to be either the Atlantic Hotel or Laguna Beach Hotel - which one do you think is better - and what facilities do they have?

Looking forward to some decent sunshine and relaxation.

Thanks for your message. I now understand about opening the account with a large sum of money and will bring at least that amount with me.

I've finally worked out how to attach a photo to an e-mail and you'll be able to recognise me from this.

I also need to have a photo of you so that I can spot you at the airport.

Are there any good restaurants near the airport? I generally don't eat airline meals so by that time in the evening I'll be a bit peckish. Anyway I always think relaxing over a good meal is a good way to get to know people so when you meet me I would like to eat straight away - I can check into the hotel later.

If at all possible I'd prefer to eat in a typical local restaurant rather than in the airport - I eat just about anything so the type of food is not a consideration - so long as there's good food and wine (or beer) so we can relax and get to know each other.
